Before the bottles, before the rubs, before the Sauce Ledger, there were chicken strips: whole-muscle chicken, a gluten-free coating, and sauces built to make the whole thing worth talking about.
The strips started the brand
The original Saucy Bird service was built around one idea: gluten-free food should not feel like a compromise. The chicken strips became the place where the sauces and seasonings proved themselves.
That original pickup and delivery service is no longer operating. Old menus, addresses, service hours, and Uber Eats listings are not current.
What Saucy Bird is today
Today Saucy Bird is a Vancouver flavour brand built around five sauces and four rubs and seasonings. The system is simple:
Rub. Cook. Sauce. You take the credit.
You can use the line on the food you already make at home: chicken, burgers, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, potatoes, tacos, vegetables and leftovers.
Are Saucy Bird chicken strips coming back?
Yes. A frozen gluten-free whole-muscle chicken strip is in development for retail. The format, production partner, final claims, pricing and launch timing are still being validated, so we are not publishing a launch date yet.
When the chicken returns, it will sit inside the same Saucy Bird system: season it, cook it, sauce it.
